Because it uses minimal bandwidth, it is great for weak signals. You can send huge video files, 20 to more photos at once, and any other files such as pdf, jpg and pps. This app is a complete competitor to all the other messaging apps.
It's the best communication tool! It's no wonder that Facebook spent so much on it. All of our WhatsApp apps can be used up-to-date. Both the sender and receiver are connected to Wi-Fi. If a message is sent to someone but doesn't get through, the receiver doesn't get a notification. It used to be a wonderful app, but it has been discontinued.
Terrible design! It would be nice to have the option of tapping the screen again and making the film strip disappear (as it was in older versions). Even though the button can be used to access the gallery. WhatsApp Support claims that this functionality is intended. Images from gallery cover the camera screen You are unable to view all the images you have taken. However, when you try to save that backup to your drive it will just say 'preparing to back up'. The local backup is created without any problems. Things get complicated when Drive creates the local backup. Google Drive won't allow me to back it up.
